This Year 2017: Papa and I are fund raising for an Active Duty parent. His daughter has been diagnosed with A Terminal issue.
She made a wish through the NH Make A Wish to take her family to Disney before she passes. So this years fundraising is a very special fund raiser. Please come visit us at Bike Week NH, See below for details. Lets make this wish happen SOON!!
I am sorry to say Rolling Thunder was a washout..... Literally. Papa and I arrived in DC on Saturday. Took a quick ride around the park areas and.... RAIN, RAIN, RAIN.. So Papa and I had to rush back to the hotel as I do not do well riding in the rain. So we did not collect 1 penny on Saturday. However, Sunday morning was a perfect day.... We stopped at Starbucks for a coffee and met three locals. We received a $20.00 donation. WOW! that don't happen often. Papa finished his coffee and we headed to the Pentagon parking lot. We normally go to the North Lot, however it was full so we parked in the first parking lot. Great spot. Things started out GREAT. we received 4 more $20's and a few tens before (YOU GUESSED IT) RAIN... So papa and I flew back to the hotel.
Making our total collections $301.00 Sad moment for Papa and I.
NEXT is LACONIA BIKE WEEK, SATURDAY if it is not RAINING.
Papa and I will be in the Weirs and the Kuryakyn booth. We will park in the Weirs on the way in and out for a while. Then , we move on to the Kuryakyn booth in the parking lot connected to the Harts Turkey Farm restaurant. Right next to Meredith Harley Davidson. This is a great place to catch papa and I, the folks at Kuryakyn are the greatest. They not only allow Papa and I to fund raise at their booth, they supply papa and I water, ice and lots of fun. This is the best place to get a great picture and some great accessories. Papa has an older set of speakers he and I love. Oma's Harley Trike is loaded with Kuryakyn goodies. Please tell the sales people RAINBOW sent you..
After Laconia Bike week you will find Papa and I riding the NH, ME and MA beaches. With lots of Stops in Ogunquit and York Beach, Downtown Dover and Portsmouth, NH, Newcastle Commons and Hampton Beach.
Once in a while we will visit Salisbury Beach, MA, Glouster, MA
